About Us
Allan Findlay
Allan Findlay is a clinical social worker who has been helping couples, families, adults, children and teenagers for over twenty five years. He is registered to practice by the Ontario College of Social Workers.
Allan is a specialist in bringing cooperation, respect and love back into the lives of individuals, couples and families. He believes that it is important to appreciate the strengths and resilience people possess and mobilize them when trying to overcome obstacles in their lives. His practical approach can bring significant results sometimes in a only a few sessions.
Formerly a clinical supervisor in a public child and family service organization as well as a university field instructor of social workers in training, Allan is a life long learner who employs only the most effective approaches to help address a wide range of personal concerns or problems.
As a father of three, he appreciates the real life challenges of raising children while balancing the pressures of a busy practice.

- Marriage Counselling - separation/divorce prevention, affair recovery, improved communication and intimacy.
- Family Counselling - teen conflict, A.D.(H.)D., difficult child behaviour, parenting after divorce and remarriage.
- Adult Individual Counselling - anger management, depression, stress, anxiety and panic. Relationship problems, grief, loss, and trauma.
